Jojoba is closest to the scalp's own sebum, so it balances rather than adds grease. Sweet almond oil carries vitamins A, B and E and softens the shaft. Argan oil brings antioxidants and fatty acids and takes the edge off frizz. Castor oil is the thick one, and it conditions the scalp and coats the roots. Lavender rounds off the scent. The blend stays light enough to absorb quickly, so hair reads shiny rather than oily, which is the usual failure of a scalp oil.

Application tips
Two uses, and they want different amounts. On the scalp, part in rows and place a few drops directly on the skin, then massage with the pads of your fingers for a minute or two.
On the hair, warm a small amount in the palms and press it over dry ends, or add it to damp hair after a leave-in to seal. Less is more here. An oil applied heavily takes days to leave.
Results
The scalp stops feeling tight within minutes and holds that comfort for a day or two. Nothing is left slick at the roots, so the hair still moves.
