It is a weekly treatment rather than a daily conditioner, and it goes deeper than one because highly textured hair loses moisture faster than a rinse-through can replace it. Application tips
Shampoo first, then blot. A masque applied over conditioner or onto dripping hair cannot get anywhere near the cortex.
Apply thickly in four sections, concentrating on the ends and the oldest hair. Cover with a cap and add warmth from a hooded dryer, a warm towel, or simply your own body heat under the cap for a while. Rinse cool, and skip your usual conditioner afterwards.
Results
Straight out of the rinse the hair feels substantially different. Heavier, softer, with real stretch in it when you pull a strand. Brittle ends stop feeling like straw.
The change builds. One use is pleasant, a month of weekly use is what shifts hair that has been snapping under the comb into hair that bends and holds. Shine returns along the length rather than only at the top.
