Spray into the sections rather than over the surface, scrunch, and let it dry. Hitting the top of the hair only revives the top of the hair, which is how a refresh ends up wet at the crown and flat underneath.

Application tips
Dry hair, day two onwards. Hold the bottle back from the head and mist in passes rather than soaking one spot, then cup a handful of curls and scrunch upward to wake the pattern back up.
Flattened areas at the back and wherever you slept usually need a second pass. Anything still refusing to cooperate can take a little water on the fingertips first. No rinsing, no restyling.
Results
Curls plump back out within a minute or so and the definition returns without a full wash. Dry, dull sections take on moisture and the shape tightens back towards where it was on wash day.
It also freshens hair that has been under a scarf or a hat, taking the stale note out of it. Nothing is left behind on the hands and the curls stay soft rather than turning sticky.
