A mousse distributes through wet hair in a way a thicker product cannot, coating each strand with a fine conditioning layer that encourages curls to clump together. As it dries it disappears into the hair rather than sitting on it, so what you see is definition rather than product. Hydrolysed Wheat Protein is the working ingredient, strengthening each strand from the inside and adding density to finer textures.
The hold is soft and pliable. Curls stay flexible and touchable all day instead of turning brittle, and there is no flaking or residue to brush out later. Free from parabens, and it handles wash-and-gos as readily as diffused blowouts.
Shake it well and dispense a palmful at a time onto wet hair rather than damp. Mousse needs water to spread, and applying it to hair that has already started drying is why people conclude it does nothing.

Application tips
Wet hair, always. Shake, dispense a palmful, and press it into a section rather than rubbing, because rubbing is what turns a mousse into frizz.
Scrunch upward towards the scalp for volume and clumping, or rake through for a smoother wash-and-go. Diffuse on a low heat with the head tipped forward, or let it dry undisturbed. Fingers out until it is dry, then shake the roots loose.
Results
Curls come out lifted at the root and separated along the length, which is the combination most creams cannot give you. The hold is soft and pliable rather than set.
Shine is the second thing people notice. There is no flaking, no white cast and no film on the hand when you touch it, and diffused hair keeps its volume rather than collapsing after an hour.
