This gel works by wrapping each strand in a protective coat, which slows how much atmospheric moisture the hair can take on. The curl pattern holds, the frizz stays down, and because the formula deposits moisture at the same time as it holds, the finish stays soft and flexible rather than crunchy. No cast, no white residue.
It is free from parabens, phthalates, silicones and mineral oil, which puts it inside most Curly Girl routines. Air dry for a defined wash-and-go, or diffuse it if you want more volume. It layers under a cream or over a leave-in without pilling, which is not something every gel manages.

Application tips
Gel wants water underneath it. Apply to hair that is properly wet, not damp, and take the sections small enough that the product reaches every strand rather than sitting on the outside of a clump.
Rake through first, then either scrunch or shingle depending on how much definition you want. Once it is on, stop touching it. Air-dry or diffuse until bone dry, then scrunch the cast out with a drop of oil on your palms.
Results
Curls set into clean, separated groups with a shine that reads as healthy hair rather than product. The hold is flexible. Firm enough to survive being slept on, soft enough to move.
