Application tips
Shake the can hard, then dispense into your palm and work through soaking wet hair in sections. Mousse spreads best on hair that is still dripping, and a golf-ball measure covers more than people expect.
Rake it through, then either scrunch upwards for volume or smooth into twists for a set. Diffuse on low or leave it to air-dry, and resist touching it until the hair is completely dry. Break the cast with your fingers at the end.
Results
Curls come up separated and springy, with the hold sitting somewhere in the middle. Enough structure to keep the pattern through the day, loose enough that you can run fingers through without wrecking it.
No crunch once the cast is broken, and no flaking or white residue. Frizz stays down where a mousse alone usually gives up by mid-afternoon, and the strand itself feels a little more robust after a run of uses.
