Welloxon Perfect is the developer Wella designed for its own colour lines, so if you are working with Koleston Perfect, Illumina Color or Blondor, this is the oxidant those formulas were calibrated against. A matched developer is often the difference between the shade on the swatch and the shade you actually get.
At 9% you have 30 volume, giving up to three levels of lift and full grey coverage in a rich, even tone. It is the strength for lightening services, and for permanent colour that has to travel a distance from the natural base.
Grey is where a matched developer shows its value most plainly. Resistant white hair needs the tint fully developed to take an even tone, and an underpowered oxidant leaves it looking translucent against the rest of the head.
The consistency is a smooth cream that mixes without lumps and applies evenly section to section, so development happens at the same rate across the head.
