Application tips
Patch test 48 hours ahead, every single time, even if you have used the shade before.
Mix with the developer your shade and technique call for. Start where grey is most stubborn, usually the temples and the parting, and work back from there. On a retouch, roots first and the lengths only for the last few minutes. Rinse until the water runs clear, then condition.
Results
Grey is covered rather than shaded over, so roots read as one continuous colour with the rest of the head instead of a paler band.
The tone lands natural and multi-toned rather than flat, and it keeps its intensity through repeated washes. Shine comes with it, which is what stops a permanent colour looking like pigment sitting on top of the hair.
