Application tips
Choose the shade against the natural base rather than the shade you want on the swatch, since browns go darker than expected on porous hair. Mix with Welloxon Perfect at the ratio Wella state and apply to dry hair that has not been washed that day.
Work roots first when there is regrowth. Emulsify at the basin before rinsing, which lifts the stain off the hairline as you go.
Results
Brown lands with depth rather than the flat, opaque look a box dye leaves, and greys take fully to the root. Shine holds because the pigment sits inside the cortex rather than coating the outside. The tone stays true through the fade instead of turning red or muddy. The ME+ dye precursor replaces PPD in the formula, which is the change Wella made on allergy risk.
