Application tips
Two hundred and fifty millilitres is a single-service bottle, so measure straight from it and cap it again.
With bleach powder most brands want one part powder to two parts developer; with a permanent tint, check the tube. Mix in plastic, never metal. Apply to unwashed dry hair, starting where you need the most lift and leaving the roots until last if the scalp is warm.
Results
The extra strength shows in how far the base moves rather than in how fast it gets there. Paired with bleach it drives a full lift; paired with a permanent tint it develops the shade properly and holds it.
The cream carries enough body to stay put on the section while it works. Watch it, because 9 per cent is not gentle on porous ends.
