The ingredient list is the selling point here, and it runs longer than most mists manage. Aloe vera leaf juice, shea oil, Jamaican black castor oil, rose flower water, rosemary and mint essential oils, and several other plant oils behind them. What comes out of the bottle is still light. It sits comfortably in the middle of a routine, after the conditioner and before the heavier oil, and it works on straight hair through to tight coils. Application tips
Section the hair first even though this is a spray. Six or eight passes over an unsectioned head mostly lands on the outside.
Lift a section, spray from underneath as well as over the top, then smooth it down with a wet hand. On wash day it goes on before the cream. Midweek: spray, finger-comb, retwist the front and leave the back alone.
Results
Hair softens on contact and the tangles that build up between washes come apart without a full rinse.
There is a brief cool note from the mint at the scalp and then nothing. It dries down invisibly, with no stickiness and no weight, which is what lets it double as a daily refresher. Curls reshape while damp rather than frizzing as they dry out again.
