Application tips
Keep it off the roots. This is a mask for the half of the hair that no longer gets any oil from the scalp, and applying it at the top only flattens the crown. Comb it through the lengths so it lands evenly, twist the hair up out of the way, then leave it while you do everything else in the shower. Rinse until the hair stops feeling slippery.
Results
Dry, snappy lengths come back with weight and give, and hair that had been breaking under the comb stops fighting. Detangling turns into a two-minute job. The shine that returns is the deep kind that comes from a rehydrated strand rather than a coating over a dry one. Coconut scent is mild and gone by the time hair dries.
