Fine hair and low porosity hair have the same complaint about scalp oils: everything sits on top and nothing sinks in. This is the lighter version of Sunny Isle's Rosemary Mint Strong Roots Oil, thinned down for exactly that problem, in a 2oz travel size.
The ingredient list is longer than the plain castor blends. Jamaican black castor oil is still the base, joined by rosemary, peppermint, biotin, tea tree and vitamin E. It comes with an applicator tip, so you can part the hair and put oil on the scalp rather than on the hair.
How to use it:
- Part into sections and run the nozzle along each parting
- Massage for three to five minutes, minty tingle included
- Leave it in, morning or evening, no rinsing
- Repeat daily if your scalp likes it
Free from parabens, sulphates, mineral oil and petroleum. Suits all hair types, but the reason to pick the lite version over the standard one is fine, low-porosity or naturally oily hair.
