Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil Pure Butter with Tea Tree Oil 4 oz
Tea tree is the sharpest smelling of the Sunny Isle butters, and the one people reach for when their scalp feels dry and tight rather than when their hair does.
The base is the same: Jamaican black castor oil and butter, heavy enough to seal, soft enough to melt on contact. Tea tree oil gives it a clean feel on the scalp and a smell that clears your head.
- Soothes the feel of a dry, tight scalp
- Seals moisture into dry lengths and ends
- Clean, sharp tea tree scent
- Helps reduce breakage on hair that snaps when dry
Used weekly, in parts, it soothes the feel of a dry scalp and leaves the hair conditioned rather than stripped. 4oz jar, which lasts a long time at that frequency.
It suits anyone in protective styles for weeks at a time, where the scalp needs attention far more often than the hair does.

Application tips
Rows first. Part the hair into four, then into smaller sections within each quarter. Take a fingertip of butter, soften it, and press it along the exposed scalp rather than smoothing it over the hair.
2 to 3 minutes of massage per section. Leave it in and wash as normal at the end of the week. Once or twice weekly is enough at this richness.
Results
The scalp feels more comfortable and less tight, and the sharp herbal scent hangs around for an hour or so before fading.
On the hair the butter does the ordinary butter job. Ends stay soft, twists hold together, and the surface looks less dull. A rich texture, so fine hair wants a fraction of what dense hair takes.
