Sunny Isle Chebe Powder Pure Butter 4oz For Hair Growth
Chebe is a Chadian hair practice rather than a modern ingredient. Women in Chad have used the powder in a butter base for generations, and the point of it has never been making hair grow faster.
It is about keeping the length you already have instead of losing it to breakage at the ends.
Sunny Isle put chebe together with Jamaican Black Castor Oil and shea butter in a 4oz jar. The butter seals, the castor oil coats, and the chebe is what the whole practice is built around. On dry, porous hair the effect is ends that stay pliable rather than snapping when you handle them.
- Reduces breakage, which is how length gets retained
- Moisturises and seals dry, porous strands
- Rich enough for coily textures that drink product
- Works on stretched, braided or twisted hair as much as on loose
Use it on the lengths and ends rather than the roots, and use it on damp hair so there is moisture to seal in. It is a heavy butter and a little covers more than you think.

Application tips
Chebe is applied to the length and then left alone, which is the part people get wrong. Dampen the hair first, take a small amount of butter, and work it from the middle of the strand to the tip.
Then braid or twist the section and leave it in for several days, reapplying on top rather than washing it out each time. Keep a weekly wash in the routine so the scalp stays clear.
Results
Ends keep their give instead of turning crisp and breaking off during styling, which is where the length usually goes. Hair feels dense and coated in a way that suits thirsty coily textures.
Twists and braids set with it hold for a week or more. Buildup is real, so a proper wash day matters more than usual once this is in rotation.
