Application tips
Section into four before you open anything, and clip three out of the way. Apply with a tint brush along each part, working from the back of the head forwards, since the back takes longest to develop and is hardest to reach in a mirror.
Comb the colour through the ends only in the last few minutes. Rinse until the water is clear, then a conditioning rinse. Skin test two days ahead.
Results
Grey disappears rather than showing through as a lighter thread, and the tone reads as a true black in daylight instead of the blue cast cheap dyes leave. Hair does not feel stripped once it is rinsed.
Fifty millilitres is a small kit, better suited to a hairline and parting refresh than a whole head of long hair. The tone stays put over repeated washes instead of drifting warm.
