Application tips
Skin test first, 48 hours, no exceptions on a permanent colour. Then part the hair into narrow rows and lay the creme along the new growth with a tint brush.
Keep it off the previously coloured lengths so they do not build up and go dull. Twenty five millilitres covers a parting and a hairline, not a whole head. Set a timer, rinse thoroughly, and condition afterwards.
Results
Roots match the rest instead of sitting as a grey band above a dark length, which is the only thing that matters on a touch up. Colour lands deep and glossy rather than flat and matte.
The creme holds its position on the strand, so you avoid the darker stripe you get where new colour has crept onto old. Hair feels conditioned rather than roughened once it is rinsed.
