Application tips
Treat it like hair you grew. Shampoo every couple of weeks, condition mid-lengths to ends, and rinse with the strands hanging in one direction so the cuticle stays flat.
Blot rather than rub. Air-dry on a stand where you can, and if you must use a dryer, keep the nozzle moving. Curling and straightening need no special allowance, though working in small sections gives a cleaner finish.
