Application tips
Decide where the parting goes before you fix anything down, then comb the fibre away from that line with a rat-tail comb. Press the lace flat and tap a matching powder into it to take the shine off.
Shift the parting every week or two instead of defaulting to the same line. Heat is fine within the rated limit, low setting, small sections.
Results
In normal light nobody clocks the parting as anything but scalp, and shifting that line from time to time is what stops a wig looking staged.
Swiss lace lies flatter than standard lace, so there is no ridge along the front. The cap stays cool enough for long wear, and your own hair sits undisturbed underneath, which is half the appeal of wearing a unit at all.
