Application tips
Fit them before any colour is mixed, with dry hair pushed back off the ears. Slide each one over the ear until it sits flush to the head, and check the lobe is fully inside before the first section gets painted.
Take them off after the rinse, wash in warm soapy water, dry and put them away. Silicone stains less if you clean it the same day.
Results
Colour, bleach and perm lotion stay off skin, which saves the scrubbing afterwards on the one part of the head that dye clings to hardest.
The silicone flexes with the ear instead of pinching, so a full head of bleach stays bearable. Water stays out at the basin. They rinse clean and live in the kit bag until next time.
