Shea Moisture's beard oil is built around maracuja oil and certified organic shea butter, and it reaches the skin as well as the hair. Coarse facial hair softens, the wiry ones that stick out lie flatter, and the finish is a natural shine without the slick, oily look.

Wash and dry the beard first, then work a few drops in from the roots outwards. Thicker beards need more than you would think. 3.2 oz goes a long way when the dose is a few drops.

Application tips
Three or four drops warmed in the palms, after a shower, on a towel-dry beard. Press it in at the skin first, work up through the hair with your fingers, then take a comb down the length to spread what is left. Add drops one at a time.
Results
Coarse hair softens enough to sit flat instead of sticking out at the sides. The skin underneath stops feeling tight and dry.
Stray hairs stop flying off in every direction and the whole thing takes a shape when you comb it. There is a shine to it, though nothing greasy, and the beard feels less wiry by the second or third day.
