Ultra Brights covers electric blue, hot pink, fiery red and the rest of the spectrum a natural colour chart ignores, and it is semi-permanent, so the whole thing fades out over up to fifteen washes.
Deposit-only colour like this needs a light base to read properly. On pre-lightened or naturally fair hair the shade lands close to what is on the box. On dark hair, expect a tint you notice in sunlight rather than a full change.

Application tips
Old towel, old shirt, gloves on. Apply to clean, dry hair and saturate every section properly, since a thin application is the difference between vivid and blotchy.
Push the colour right down to the ends, which are the most porous part and take the shade most readily. Leave it for the time on the leaflet, then rinse in cool water until it runs clear, skipping shampoo that first time.
Results
On a pale base the shades arrive loud, with the kind of saturation that photographs the way it looks in the mirror.
The colour sits on the surface of the hair rather than inside it, which is why it fades cleanly across a run of washes instead of turning muddy. Hair stays soft, and about fifteen washes later the base is blank again with no line to grow out.
