Ultra Brights covers electric blue, hot pink, fiery red and the rest of the spectrum a natural colour chart ignores, and it is semi-permanent, so the whole thing fades out over up to fifteen washes.
Deposit-only colour like this needs a light base to read properly. On pre-lightened or naturally fair hair the shade lands close to what is on the box. On dark hair, expect a tint you notice in sunlight rather than a full change.
Application is a home kit with no separate developer to buy. Wear the gloves, protect the bathroom, and be aware that the brighter shades stain fabric and grout happily. Best for trying a colour on for size, a set of panels, or a look that only needs to survive a season.
