Remington Shine Therapy Hair Straightener - Moroccan Argan Oil Infused for Frizz-Free, Smooth, Shiny Hair
Most straighteners are a heat source and nothing else. The Shine Therapy is Remington's attempt at making the plates do a second job: the ceramic is coated with Moroccan argan oil and vitamin E micro-conditioners, which release onto the hair as the plates pass over it.
In practice that means less of the dry, brittle finish you get from repeated straightening. Hair comes out smoother, holds more light, and frizz stays down for longer than a bare ceramic plate manages. The argan oil is the conditioning part, adding softness and helping hair keep some elasticity instead of going glassy and snapping.
It is still a heat tool, so the usual rules apply. Work on fully dry hair, use a heat protectant first, and take thin sections so you are not going over the same piece three times.

Application tips
Wipe the plates down when they are cool every few weeks. Micro-conditioners transfer to the hair, but product residue transfers back the other way, and dirty plates drag.
In use, keep the temperature as low as the hair will accept and check after one pass before deciding you need another. If a section still kinks, the section was too thick rather than the heat too low. Let it cool in your hand before a brush goes near it.
Results
The obvious difference is at the ends, where repeated straightening shows up first. Hair comes off the plates softer than it went on, with a shine that looks conditioned rather than flattened. Frizz stays down longer through the day, and the hair keeps enough give that it bends rather than snapping when you tie it up.
