Application tips
Mix in a non-metallic bowl, powder to peroxide, and stir until there are no lumps left. Gloves and a barrier cream along the hairline.
Apply to dry, unwashed hair, starting where the hair is darkest and finishing at the roots, since scalp heat speeds those up. Watch it constantly rather than setting a timer and walking off. Rinse and shampoo the moment the lift is where you want it.
Results
At twenty volume the lift arrives slowly, which is the trade for control and for less stress on the hair.
The blue pigment keeps the underlying warmth down, so the hair passes through a paler orange and into yellow rather than sitting brassy. Expect a cleaner base for toner afterwards and less purple shampoo work later. Dark or previously coloured hair will need more than one session to reach a pale blonde.
