Application tips
The scalp is the target here, so part the hair into rows and put the shampoo straight onto the skin rather than tipping it over the top of your head.
Massage with the pads of the fingers for a minute, going right around the hairline and the nape, which are the two spots everyone misses. Leave it on while you wash the rest of you, then rinse out completely and condition the lengths alone.
Results
The scalp comes out feeling clean and settled, with excess oil and the loose debris that gathers between washes lifted away.
Hair is left soft rather than stripped, which is not a given for a wash aimed at the roots. Rosemary leaves a fresh, herbal smell that hangs about lightly. Roots stay clean longer, and the lengths look brighter once that greasy film has gone.
