Application tips
Shampoo, then get as much water out of the hair as you can before the mask goes on.
Take a proper handful and coat every section until the hair is completely covered, roots included if the damage runs that far. Twenty minutes with a plastic cap on, longer under a warm towel. Rinse until the water runs clean. Once a week, and stop for a fortnight if hair starts feeling stiff.
Results
Hair that had gone soft and stretchy firms up, so a strand pulled between two fingers gives a little and then holds rather than parting. Detangling afterwards takes half the time.
The mask is rich enough that curls come out plump and shiny instead of stiff, and the shea keeps the ends from going brittle. On dense hair the size means a full coating is possible, which is where most of the result comes from.
