Arginine is the amino acid at the centre of it, working inside the cortex on the bonds that chemical processing and heat break down. Biotin and collagen rebuild the feel of the strand from there, adding elasticity and a bit of body. Coconut and avocado oils handle the moisture side, so it detangles as well as it repairs.
Use it on hair that has been bleached, relaxed or heat styled past the point where an ordinary conditioner helps. Textured hair with real damage, in other words, rather than everyday dryness.

Application tips
A pot this small wants rationing, so start with a teaspoon and add if the hair drinks it.
Shampoo first, then squeeze the water out properly, because the masque needs somewhere to go. Smooth it over the most damaged stretch, usually the last few inches, and comb it through. Fifteen minutes is enough. Rinse it fully, and keep the frequency to once a week so the hair does not stiffen up.
Results
Damaged hair feels denser straight after rinsing, less like wet string and more like hair with something in it. The comb moves.
Curls that had gone limp and shapeless start holding a pattern again, and the ends stop feeling papery to the touch. Shine returns because the surface is smoother, not because anything reflective has been laid on top. Overuse goes the other way, so leave a week between treatments.
