Application tips
Base the scalp and put gloves on before mixing. The relaxer goes on the new growth at the roots only, worked in sections, and it should never be smoothed down over hair that has already been processed.
Watch the clock, not the mirror. Rinse hard, then shampoo twice, then condition for the full time the leaflet gives.
Results
Roots come out matching the lengths, so the ridge where two textures meet disappears and the hair sits flat from top to bottom. Coarse roots stop resisting a comb.
The shampoo takes the chemical residue off properly, and the conditioner puts back enough softness that the hair can be styled the same day rather than left alone.
