Washing braids properly is awkward, slow, and hard on the style. A few weeks in, the scalp needs attention long before the braids need taking down. Braidzone is built for that gap. It is a dry cleanse for the scalp and roots, alcohol-free, infused with lavender oil and acai oil, and it refreshes without water so the style stays intact.

  • Refreshes scalp and roots without washing
  • Alcohol-free, so it does not dry the scalp further
  • Lavender and acai oils leave the scalp feeling calm and comfortable
  • Made for braids, twists and protective styles

Work it along the parting sections, then massage lightly with your fingertips. Use it between wash days for as long as the style is in, and it is just as useful for anyone with locs or a sew-in who cannot easily reach the scalp. The bottle is 236ml / 8 fl oz.

Application tips

Part the braids in rows and hold it a few inches from the scalp so the product lands where it is needed rather than on the braid itself.

Work along each parting, then massage with fingertips or a scalp brush. Give it a minute, then blot the partings with a clean towel or a cotton pad. Use midweek, not on wash day.

Results

The tight, grubby feeling that builds up around week two of a protective style lifts, and the scalp feels clean without anything being undone.

Roots stop looking dull and greasy at the parting. Braids keep their shape because no water goes near them, and there is no white cast left behind on darker hair.
