Olive Moisture Batana Scalp & Hair Nourishing Oil for Growth, Strength & Dry Scalp Relief 2 oz
Batana oil, also sold as Ojon oil, comes from the nut of the American oil palm. It is thick, dark and unmistakable in scent.
Olive Moisture put it into a 2 oz bottle with a blend of natural botanicals, for use on the scalp and along the length. On the scalp it takes the edge off that tight, dry feeling. On the hair it coats the strand and makes it less fragile, so combing costs fewer strands.
Two ounces is small, and that suits the product. Batana is rich enough that a few drops covers a section, so the size is about right for how little you need.
Massage a small amount into the scalp and work the rest through the ends. Leave it in overnight if the hair is very dry, then wash it out in the morning.
Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Elaeis Oleifera (Batana) Kernel Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E)

Application tips
Two ounces is a small bottle because this is a drops-not-handfuls product. Part the hair in rows, put a few drops along each parting, and massage in with the pads of your fingers rather than nails.
What is left on your hands goes through the ends. Leave it on between washes, or use it as a pre-shampoo soak an hour before you wash if the lengths are very dry.
Results
Batana is a thick, dark oil and it behaves like one. A dry, tight scalp feels more comfortable within a wash or two, and the hair takes on a low sheen rather than a greasy shine if you keep the amount honest.
On coils and locs it softens the handle, so styling pulls less and fewer short broken pieces come away in the comb.
