Application tips
Get the braids running flat and low before the cap goes on, because bulk at the crown is what pushes a unit out of shape.
Start this one at the nape and roll it forwards over the head, which stops it riding back up later. Seat the front edge at your hairline and smooth the sides down. Check the back before you fit anything over it.
Results
There is room for a full head of hair or a set of cornrows without the fabric straining, so the cap stays where it is put through a working day.
Compression is smooth rather than tight, and there is no sore band left across the hairline afterwards. Whatever goes over the top has a level base to sit on.
