LDP stands for lace deep part, and the deep part is why this one looks convincing. The lace runs far enough back that you can part it properly and see what reads as scalp, instead of a shallow strip that gives up two inches in.

Austin comes pre styled in medium length layers, a shape that suits most faces and asks very little of you. It has volume built in and it falls back into place after a shake, which is the main reason people buy pre styled wigs in the first place.

The fibre is heat friendly and rated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, so a curling iron or straightener is fair game if you want to change the layers or smooth them out. Check your tool's setting before you touch a synthetic wig with it.

Suits daily wear, and anyone who wants a natural looking parting without dealing with lace fronts.

Application tips

Pin your own hair flat and put a cap over it, then set the wig so the lace parting sits where you normally part your own hair.

Press the lace down along that line and dust a matching powder into it to kill the shine. Shake the layers out with your fingers rather than a brush. Keep irons at or below the rated limit and test on a hidden section first.

Results

The parting reads as scalp rather than as mesh, and it holds up under a close look.

Layers drop back where they belong once you shake them out, so there is no daily restyling to do. The medium length suits most face shapes without adjustment, and heat lets you smooth it flatter or add a bend for a change.

Composition

The full INCI is printed on the pack. We publish it here as soon as the brand supplies it, and we will read it off the bottle for you if you ask.
