It starts as a pomade and turns to oil in your hands, which solves the usual problem with hairdressings. Solid ones are hard to spread and liquid ones run everywhere before they land.
The oil blend is sweet almond, safflower seed, corn, argan and babassu, with cocoa seed butter, beeswax and the rosemary and peppermint oils the range is named after. It moisturises dry hair, takes the tightness out of a dry-feeling scalp, smooths flyaways and puts shine back into hair that has gone dull.

Because the texture changes in your hands, it suits scalps and lengths equally, which is unusual for a hairdressing. Most oils are too thin to stay put on the scalp and most pomades are too heavy to spread through the lengths. This one manages both from the same tin.
A small coin-sized amount rubbed between the palms is enough for most heads. For the scalp, part the hair in sections and work a little along each part. Suits curly hair, thermally straightened hair and protective styles, and it can go on before or after flat ironing. 5oz.

Application tips
Scoop a small amount with a fingertip and hold it in the palm until it loosens into a liquid, which takes a few seconds of warmth. Smooth it down the length with flat hands.
For the scalp, part the hair first and touch it straight onto the skin along each parting, then massage. On a silk press, a trace on the palms is enough.
Results
Dry lengths soften and stop looking dusty, with a shine that sits in the hair rather than on top of it. The scalp feels less tight between washes and flyaways lie down.
Because it spreads as an oil, it covers far more ground than a solid pomade would, so the tub lasts through months of regular use.
