Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp & Edge Cleansing Oil 4oz
This one exists for the awkward gap between wash days, particularly if you wear protective styles or lay your edges. Gel builds up along the hairline, the scalp starts to feel coated, and a full wash would undo a style you are not ready to take down.
It is a no-rinse cleansing oil, so it lifts residue without water and without reversion. Rosemary, mint, biotin and witch hazel do the work, dissolving product build-up on the scalp and along the hairline while leaving the hair itself alone. The 4oz bottle sprays, so you can section, target the parting and stop there. No parabens, sulfates, paraffins, mineral oil or DEA.

To use it on the scalp: shake, section, spray, leave for two minutes, massage, then blot the excess with a dry towel. For edges, spray onto a towel and rub gently from root to end. A damp towel works better inside protective styles.

Application tips
On the hairline, spray a cotton pad rather than the hair and wipe along the edge where gel has gathered. On the scalp, take four or five partings, spray each one, wait a couple of minutes, then rub with the pads of your fingers.
A towel catches what lifts. Twice a week suits a long protective style, or the morning after a workout.
Results
Old gel comes off the hairline without the hair reverting, so edges can be laid again straight away. The scalp stops feeling coated and heavy towards the end of a long style.
The hair keeps its shape completely, since no water goes near it. Used before a wash, it gives the shampoo less to shift and the lather comes up faster.
