Most gels come out of a tub. This one sprays, which changes how you can use it. You can mist it onto the ends of a style that has already been set, rather than taking the whole thing apart to reapply.
It was made for type 4 hair and air-dried wash-n-gos. The gel elongates and clumps the curl pattern, then sets it, and it dries fast enough that you are not waiting around for hours. The hold is medium and flexible, so definition survives without the hair going hard.

Use it after the styling lotion. Mist as needed, pay attention to the ends, then detangle with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb so it spreads evenly before you style. 8oz.
