This is a second-layer product. It goes on over whatever you have already used, and its job is to smooth and seal the hair so the frizz that would otherwise creep in over the day has less to work with.
Avocado oil leads the formula, with tamanu seed oil, shea butter and aloe vera behind it. Moringa seed oil, turmeric root extract and panthenol are in the ingredient list too. Mielle calls the delivery method Cold Application Technology, and what you see on the hair is a soft, shiny finish with the curl pattern still clearly defined.

Application tips
Layer it over the Slip and Seal leave-in while the hair is still properly wet. Rake through one section at a time, then smooth down the length with a flat palm so the curls group rather than separate.
Scrunch upward once. Dry it undisturbed, diffusing on low or leaving it to the air, and break any surface cast with oiled fingers at the end.
Results
Curls hold their shape well past the day you styled them, and the frizz halo that usually appears as the hair dries stays flat. The finish is soft and shiny, never lacquered, so you can push a hand through it. Sealing the surface is what keeps the damp out, and texture that normally puffs by midday stays defined.
