Ten volume is a depositing strength, which makes this the bottle you reach for when the job is tone rather than lift. Semi-permanent shades, tone-on-tone work, grey blending, or the slightest of lifts where anything stronger would overshoot the target.
The texture is creamy and does not drip, so the mix saturates a section properly and stays where the brush put it. Conditioning agents sit in the formula, and hair comes out smooth rather than roughed up by the process.
It is designed for Maxima colour but works across a wide range of other professional dyes and bleaches, which makes it a useful general bottle to keep on the shelf. A litre goes a long way.

Application tips
Decant into a non metallic bowl and stir it into your colour at the ratio the shade instructions give, not one you remember from a different brand. Quarter the head with clips and work each section in thin slices so nothing goes on twice.
Time from the moment the last slice is painted. Rinse, emulsify at the basin, then shampoo. Gloves throughout, and a patch test forty eight hours before you open anything.
Results
Colour lands where it was aimed. Three per cent has just enough strength to lift the cuticle and let pigment in, so tone shifts while depth stays put.
Greys take the shade rather than sitting a stripe lighter than everything around them. On the head the mix holds its place instead of creeping into the parting below, and hair feels conditioned at the basin instead of stripped.
