There are two teals in the range and they are not interchangeable. Siren's Song is the deep one, saturated and green-blue, where Sea Nymph is the pastel. If you want teal that stays obvious for more than a fortnight, this is the one to pick.

Depth is what buys longevity here. More pigment means more of it survives each wash, and the fade takes it down through lighter teals rather than dropping it straight to nothing. The formula holds to the same rules as the rest of the range: vegan, cruelty free, and free of PPD, ammonia, peroxide and resorcinol, conditioning the hair while it colours instead of stripping it.

Apply to clean dry hair that has been pre-lightened, leave it as long as you have patience for, then rinse cool. The 118ml pot will cover a full head on shorter hair, or a generous set of panels.

Application tips

Spoon out what you need into a bowl rather than dipping a used brush back into the tub. Once bleach or another shade gets in there, the whole pot is compromised.

Dry hair, full coverage, forty minutes under a wrap. Rinse cold. Any leftover in the bowl goes in the bin, but the sealed tub keeps for a long time.

Results

Deeper and greener than the pastel teals, closer to the colour of shallow water over pale sand.

The cream base conditions while it works, so hair is left soft rather than rough. Teal is one of the more stubborn shades. It holds its depth for weeks, then fades through a lighter aqua rather than muddying.
