Electric Banana is the one that does something the others do not. Under normal light it is a bright neon yellow. Under UV it glows, which is the whole reason it turns up at festivals and in club photographs.
Yellow is unforgiving about the base underneath it. On anything but a very pale blonde it will barely register, so this is a shade to apply after proper lightening rather than over hair with warmth or depth left in it. The formula itself is standard Manic Panic: a direct dye with no PPD, no ammonia and no peroxide, conditioning the hair as it deposits.
Semi-permanent means it fades, so treat this as a colour for a particular stretch of weeks rather than a year-round commitment. The 118ml pot is enough for a full head on shorter hair, or a set of bright panels through blonde.

Application tips
Yellow only works on a base that is already near-white. Anything with warmth left in it will pull the colour toward gold or green.
Apply to clean, dry hair, cover every strand, and leave it thirty minutes. Rinse with cold water alone. It contains wheat protein, so check the full list first if wheat is something you avoid.
Results
Bright, acid yellow in daylight, and it lifts noticeably under a blacklight, which is why it turns up at festivals more than in offices.
Aloe and wheat protein sit in the base, so the hair feels conditioned rather than crisp afterwards. Yellow is the shortest-lived of the shades, fading within a few washes to a soft butter tone.
