Application tips
Brush the hair back flat, then settle the band across the forehead a finger's width behind the hairline and fasten it at the back. Velvet wants to sit against skin rather than over hair, so lift any wispy pieces out from underneath first.
Set the fastening one notch looser than feels secure. The pile does the gripping, and over tightening is what turns a comfortable band into a sore one before the afternoon is out.
