A U-part cap is the base you sew wefts onto to build your own wig. The U shaped opening at the top is left clear so a section of your own hair can be pulled through and blended over the top, which is what gives you a real hairline instead of a lace one.
That approach sidesteps the problem most wigs have. No adhesive, no lace to tint, no hairline to fake, because the hairline is yours. It also means the leave out section can be washed and treated normally.
Construction is sturdy enough to take wefts without stretching out of shape, and the adjustable elastic straps let you tighten it to your own head so it is not moving around while you sew or while you wear it. Standard size.
