Application tips
Everything rests on what is underneath, so flatten the hair first, braided or brushed back and pinned.
Roll the cap down from the crown and settle the edge just behind your own hairline, smoothing the fabric back so no fold sits under the lace. Put the wig on over the top and press it down into the cap rather than sliding it, so the grip takes hold. Rinse in cool water after a few wears.
Results
The unit stops travelling. There is no adhesive at all, so no glue touches the skin and there is nothing to clean off later; the hold comes from the fabric itself.
Underneath, hair lies flat with no lumps showing through a parting, and it is shielded from rubbing on the inside of the wig all day. Air still moves through, so heat does not build up.
