Application tips
Flatten your hair first, whether that means cornrows, flat twists or a slicked pin-up, then roll the cap on from the forehead backwards. Sit the front edge a few millimetres behind your natural hairline so it stays hidden under lace.
Tuck the back edge under instead of leaving it proud at the nape. If any of it is going to show at a parting, adjust before the wig goes on, not after.
Results
A light brown base disappears where a black cap would read as a dark line under a parting. In daylight, and in photographs especially, that detail decides whether an install looks convincing.
Underneath, it keeps everything flat and takes the friction the wig would otherwise put straight onto your own hair. Light enough that you forget about it by mid morning.
