Magic Collection Brazil Wool Hair Acrylic Yarn Versatile & Protective Styling for All Hair Types 100 g/3.53 oz
Brazilian wool is acrylic yarn used as hair. It goes into faux locs, yarn braids, twists and loc extensions, and the reason people choose it over synthetic hair is weight. A style built with yarn is dramatically lighter on the scalp than the same style built with braiding hair, which is what lets you keep it in for weeks without your neck complaining.
Each pack holds 100 g, or 3.53 oz, in black. It has a matte finish rather than a shine, so it reads closer to natural texture than glossy synthetic does, and it takes a wrap or a knot without slipping.
- Light enough for long protective styles
- Works for faux locs, yarn braids, twists and loc extensions
- Matte finish sits closer to natural hair texture
- 100 g per pack in black
Takedown is the other half of the appeal. Yarn unravels rather than having to be cut out, so getting a style off is slow but gentle on the hair underneath.
Used by stylists and by people doing their own hair at home. How many packs a full head needs comes down to the length and the thickness you are after.
We list the full INCI where the brand supplies it. For this one it is not on file yet, so the pack is the reliable source. If you need to check an ingredient before you buy, message us and we will read it off the bottle.

Application tips
Cut your lengths before you part anything, allowing for the fold at the root and a little extra at the finish. Work in small, even sections, anchor each one at the base, and wrap down the strand with steady tension rather than pulling.
Keep the wrapping tight enough to look uniform and loose enough that the scalp is still comfortable on day three. Knot the tip to close it off, then trim the tail.
Results
Weight is the difference you notice first. A head of yarn locs sits lighter on the roots than the same style built from synthetic braiding hair, which is what makes four or five weeks of wear bearable.
The surface has no plastic shine to it, so the finish reads as texture rather than as thread, and it holds a wrap without sliding. Coming out, the yarn unwinds, so takedown is patient work with the scissors kept well away.
Composition
- Acrylic Yarn
- Builds locs and braids at a fraction of synthetic hair's weight
- Matte Finish
