Application tips
Pull it down over the hairline first, then tuck every strand of your own hair inside before you touch the band. Tighten from the back until the cap sits level all the way round, and stop at the point where it feels held rather than gripped. Over-tightening drags the front edge backwards within an hour.
For a wig build, mount the capped block and sew your wefts row by row from the nape upwards. Worn under a weave, run a finger round the perimeter afterwards to flatten any ridge.
Results
Once it is on, the surface underneath goes quiet. Braided foundations stay where you put them, the band keeps its tension through a long install, and whatever sits on top reads even rather than lumpy at the crown.
