A 16 oz rinse designed to be used with heat. Steam opens the cuticle, and a protein treatment applied under a heat cap or a steamer gets further into the strand than the same product manages on its own.
Protein is the right call when hair has gone limp and stretchy rather than merely dry. Bleach, relaxer, colour and heat all pull structure out of the fibre, and a protein rinse puts some of it back, reinforcing the strand so it holds its shape and breaks less.

Apply after shampoo, cover, leave it under heat for the time you have, then rinse.
Space protein treatments out rather than running them every wash, and follow with a moisture conditioner if your hair feels stiff afterwards. The stiffness is the signal you have gone too far, and it is easily corrected.
