Dexe Keratin Ginseng Collagen Repair Hair Oil 80ml
Keratin and collagen are both proteins, and protein is what a finishing oil normally leaves out. Dexe have built this 80ml oil around them plus ginseng, which puts it somewhere between a shine product and a treatment.
The practical effect is on hair gone soft and stretchy from over-conditioning, colouring or heat. Protein gives a weakened strand something to hold its shape with, and the oil part seals the cuticle so it stays smooth and reflects light properly. Frizz calms for the same reason, because a sealed cuticle gives humidity nowhere to get in.
Apply to damp or dry hair as a finishing step or before styling. A few drops in the palm, warmed between the hands, then smoothed through the lengths and ends. Very little is needed, which is why the bottle is small.
Best on hair that is damaged and dull rather than simply dry, and on anyone whose hair has stopped holding a style. If your hair is already protein-heavy and feels brittle, this is not the oil to add to it.

Application tips
Three drops is the working dose for shoulder-length hair, four or five if it is longer or coarser. Tip them into one palm, press your hands together, then start at the ends and work back toward the mid-length.
Whatever is left on your palms goes over the top layer. Never start at the roots. If you are applying before a blow-dry, keep the dryer moving rather than holding it over one spot.
Results
Frizz drops away and stays down through a damp day, and the hair picks up a gloss that reads as condition rather than grease. Strands that had gone floppy hold their shape, so a style set in the morning is still recognisable by evening.
Split ends look sealed rather than fluffy. Overdo it and fine hair will go lank, which is the only real risk with a bottle this concentrated.
