The 1500 ml Dermo-Purifier is the backbar size of L'Oréal Professionnel's anti-oiliness wash, which makes sense for a product meant to be used often rather than occasionally.
It is aimed squarely at scalps that turn oily fast. The formula works on excess sebum and the residue that collects with it, dead skin cells, pollution and product film, so the roots feel clean rather than coated. Hair that was limp by the afternoon tends to hold better once that layer is gone.
Massage it into the scalp itself and give it a moment before rinsing. The lengths will get enough as it washes out. If your ends are dry, keep conditioner to the bottom half and leave the roots alone. Best for oily or combination scalps of any hair type. Application tips
Twice a week at most, alternated with a gentler shampoo. A purifying formula used at every wash leaves the scalp tight without solving anything.
Massage into the roots for a full minute so it reaches the skin, and leave the ends out of it entirely. Warm water rather than hot. Rinse until there is no slip left, because residue from a purifying shampoo is the fastest way back to flat roots.
Results
The scalp comes out genuinely clean and stays that way longer, so the wash-because-it-looks-greasy cycle stretches from daily to every other day.
