L'Oréal Professionnel Serié Expert Inforcer Masque for Stronger, Breakage-Resistant Hair 250 ml/8.45 oz (PREVIOUS PACKAGING)
Same formula, older tub. Brands refresh their packaging on a cycle that has nothing to do with what is inside, and stock in the previous design usually sells for less while it lasts. If you already use Inforcer, this is the cheap way to restock.
For anyone meeting it for the first time, it is a strengthening masque for weak, fragile, breakage-prone hair, built on biotin and vitamin B6. Biotin works on elasticity and brittleness, B6 sits alongside it, and the pair condition the strand so it holds together under a comb.
Split ends look less obvious afterwards because the surface is smoother, and the hair takes a shine again. None of that is a repair in the literal sense. A split end stays split; what changes is how visible it is and how fast the next one arrives.
The tub is 250 ml. Use it in place of conditioner once a week, or more often if your hair is badly compromised. Best on long, over-processed hair that has gone brittle.
Aqua/Water/Eau, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Hydroxypropyl Guar, Amodimethicone, Cetyl Esters, Isopropyl Alcohol, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Pyridoxine HCl (Vitamin B6), Biotin, Trideceth-6, Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Citric Acid, Cetrimonium Chloride, Parfum/Fragrance

Application tips
Same tub, same contents, older label. Apply it exactly as you would the current version: after shampoo, weighted towards the oldest hair, rinsed out properly.
Where it earns its keep is on hair that is genuinely compromised, in which case twice a week is not excessive. Work in sections on long hair, otherwise the underneath layer gets nothing and stays rough while the top layer improves.
Results
Hair holds up better under a comb and looks tidier at the ends, mostly because the surface has been smoothed rather than because anything has been mended.
Shine returns on lengths that had gone matte, and breakage slows to the point where you find fewer short pieces in the sink. The saving on old-stock pricing is the only thing separating this from the current tub.
Composition
- Biotin
- Works on brittleness and elasticity so weakened hair gives instead of snapping
- Vitamin B6
