Application tips
Swap it in for conditioner rather than adding it on top, and take the time you would have spent on both. Five minutes under a towel does more than one minute in a cold shower, because warmth keeps the cuticle receptive.
Bleached hair swells when wet and breaks easily in that state, so detangle while the mask is still on, with fingers first and a wide-tooth comb second.
Results
Lightened hair that had gone rough at the ends comes back to something you can run a hand through. Softness arrives first, then the shine, usually by the second or third use.
The blonde itself looks less washed out because a smooth surface reflects the tone rather than scattering it. Hair still moves afterwards, which is not a given with a mask this rich, provided you keep it off the roots.
